The Pompidou Center is the biggest museum of modern and contemporary art in Paris. Its high-tech glass building with the multi-colored pipes that cover its shell stage artworks of various modern art currents: cubism, fauvism, surrealism, expressionnism, etc. During this tour, we will explore the building together with one temporary exhibition.

- Picasso Museum
Pablo Picasso has spent the biggest part of his life in France. The French state has acquired many of his artworks -as form of tax-payment- and formed the museum’s collection. During this tour, we will explore Picasso’s blue, pink and cubist painting periods, as well as a variety of sculptures, ceramics, drawings, engravings of every period and field of his creation. The large variety of subjects, styles and technics during Picasso’s creative process, together with anecdotes of his private life, will shed more light in understanding one of the most eminent artists in the world.

- Contemporary Art Galleries (Marais area)
Contemporary art is perceived by many as a field that most people do not really understand, except for artists or art scholars. During this tour, we will discover that things are not always as they seem and why we shouldn’t be afraid of contemporary art. We will visit two contemporary art galleries at the area of Marais. While discovering each current exhibition and the profile of their leading artists, we will trace back art history and try to find parallels with international artistic tendencies and art markets.
